2 Mar 2004 - Belvoir Challenge breaks all records.
The fourteenth Belvoir Challenge the long distance run or walk organised by the Friends of Harby School broke all records.
Some one thousand and eighty six competitors entered the twenty six and fifteen mile events, a record entry. The oldest competitor was Harold Messam who is seventy seven and the youngest competitor was just eight. Competitors came from all over the country, from as far apart as Kilmarnock and Hastings.
The proceeds are also a record with in the region of nine thousand pounds raised. The money will provide new outside storage for equipment in the form of garages.
The school is extremely grateful to the huge band of helpers who worked tirelessly in staging this fantastic event. THANK YOU!
